We had a fantastic family stay at a small Mayan paradise tucked away in the jungle. the friendly staff made us feel at home, and the spotlessly clean rooms with their own porch and hammocks were a great value. the location was ideal, with easy access to nearby Mayan ruins and natural attractions.
The early morning noise from the generator was a bit disruptive at times.

I had an amazing experience during my New Year's stay at this hotel. The first thing I loved was the beautiful gardens surrounding the property - it truly felt like a peaceful oasis. The second fact that stood out to me was the quiet location. It was so serene and allowed me to escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Additionally, I really enjoyed the tasty breakfast food that was served. It was a great way to start my day.
While my overall experience was positive, there were a couple of things that I didn't particularly like. the room was a bit spartan and could have been more comfortable.

Beautiful and spacious rooms with a lovely patio to enjoy the sunset. The hotel is situated away from any noise, allowing for a peaceful and relaxing stay. The delicious breakfast, prepared by friendly owners, was a highlight of our mornings.
The lack of hot water for showers and the non-functioning electric sockets. The absence of air conditioning made the room uncomfortably hot at times.

Peace and quiet, fun, entertaining and very special. the lodges are beautifully designed, with one room and shower on each floor. the rooms are not air-conditioned, but they have good ceiling fans. the plunge pool is excellent for cooling off after a sweaty drive. the location is surrounded by nature and feels like a real oasis. Breakfast under the leaf-covered hut is brilliant, with good coffee and fresh fruit. the staff is kind, helpful, and provides towels for the pool.
The pool area is not very nice and could be better cared for. It's a shame because the rest of the hotel is exceptional.

We had an incredible time at Eco-Hotel Nueva Altia! Our stay was for two nights and we were blown away by the tranquil and serene environment. The circular buildings blended perfectly with the surrounding forest, and the porches allowed us to relax and spot various bird species. The hosts were exceptionally friendly and treated us to the best coffee in Mexico. The well-sourced water was a refreshing bonus. We can't wait to return!
